57357’s children, families, and Staff spend a week-end in Sharm to support injured Tourism

With a heightened sense of patriotism, 57357’s administration organized a week-end trip to Sharm including patients and families as well as Hospital staff. The trip is an expression of 57357’s support to the coastal town of Sharm el Sheikh which is witnessing a decline in number of tourists since the recent Russian plane incident. Major general Khaled Foda, South Sinai Governor welcomed the children in person and promised to pay them a visit at the Hospital in Cairo. He invited them to spend a whole day at the Sharm El Sheikh naval club and visited them at their Hotel in Sharm, bringing along gifts and toys.

The 57357 visiting group included Dr. Amro Ezzat Salama, 57357’s Board of trustees President, and Dr. Sherif Abou El Naga, the Hospital’s CEO. All 57357 visitors bore the cost of the trip except 57357’s patients who were offered by the Hospital the opportunity to visit Sharm free of charge. More importantly, the children were given the chance to take part in a noble initiative which pursued to demonstrate solidarity to the Nation and particularly the town of Sharm El Sheikh which is particularly hit because of the drop of touristic activity.
