The Hospital is committed to the provision of free quality care to children from day one.
The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 received the accreditation certificate of the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation GAHAR. Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, the Hospital’s general manager received the certificate during a celebration held by the Authority in appreciation of all accredited institutions being contributors to the success of the Egyptian health sector improvement project, through their commitment to apply the highest quality standards, and to offer the best health services to citizens.
57357 received the GAHAR accreditation this year in January on first try with a compliance rate of 100% to the standards of the Authority which is in turn accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health care ISQua. Dr. Ahmed Taha, the head of GAHAR praised the Hospital’s quality team efforts to disseminate the culture of quality among 57357’s employees on different levels, while affirming that obtaining GAHAR is an evidence that Hospital 57357 is committed to offering high quality medical care.
The Authority’s accreditation standards that Hospital 57357 is in compliance with include 274 standards divided into two major parts: patient’s standards which ensure that healthcare is designed according to patient’s satisfaction, needs and personal values, and the Authority’s standards which are set up to establish safe, effective and innovative care within a healthy environment while giving priority to patient safety standards.
The Hospital’s obtainment of this accreditation is an evidence to our commitment to standard operational procedures and guidelines that we apply from day one, which are established to ensure quality healthcare provided to children with utmost justice, passion and compassion, along with evidence-based planning in every step, as we are working to raise survival rates and committed to achieve our mission with dedication whatever the circumstances are with the vision of a cancer- free childhood.
