Childhood Cancer Awareness Month – September

Each September, as the world turns its attention to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded of the silent battles waged by the youngest among us—children who should be riding bikes, chasing dreams, and going to school—but instead spend their days in hospital beds, courageously fighting for their lives.

 

At Egypt Cancer Network, we believe that no child should have to face cancer alone. We exist to raise awareness, fund treatment, and stand alongside families through their most difficult journey. And we do it with you—our compassionate community of supporters who believe in giving hope where it is needed most.

 

Why Awareness Matters

 

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among children. Yet, it receives only a fraction of global cancer research funding. Awareness isn’t just about wearing gold ribbons—it’s about mobilizing action, sharing stories, and ensuring that no child is forgotten in the race toward a cure.
