In February 2021 the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt57357(CCHE) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Takeda  Egypt ,aimed at helping Hodgkin lymphoma patients at the Hospital, getting their medications safely and on time.

Takeda is a global biopharmaceutical research and development-driven company that has been known for its dedication to patients’ better health around the globe. It has a long history in japan, the country of origin since 1781.

Through Takeda’s CSR , this cooperation, the first ever between the Hospital and the pharmaceutical company, stipulates Takeda’s provision of drugs for Hodgkin Lymphoma patients and the partial coverage of  treatment costs up till the end of treatment as prescribed by the treating doctor.

The company’s support to the CCHE57357 is the result of its trust in the prominent role of the hospital in providing highest levels of quality care to its patients free of charge and without discrimination.

This cooperation is established through Axios, an international organization that is supporting the provision of health services  in countries with low and average income.

The  cooperation between Axios, Hospital 57357 and Takeda, besides offering free medications in a timely manner and according to high quality control standards, also stipulates the monitoring of the medication stocks to ensure its availability while preserving the secrecy of all patient’s information.
