Dr. Ahmed Emad

I am a proud graduate of the CCHE/DFCI Fellowship Program, Class of 2018— an initiative generously supported by the Egypt Cancer Network. This transformative experience played a pivotal role in shaping my professional path and deepening my commitment to advancing Pediatric oncology care. Currently, I serve as a Consultant in Pediatric Oncology and Head of the Emergency Department, where I lead with purpose and strive to deliver excellence in patient care. The fellowship was designed to cultivate change agents—leaders equipped not only with clinical expertise but with the vision and drive to support institutional missions. It empowered me to champion innovation, collaboration, and promote compassionate care, all in alignment with our hospital group’s overarching goal: to elevate standards and outcomes across the healthcare system.

Dr. Hisham Monieb

I was enrolled in the fellowship from 2014 to 2017, spending six months at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital under joint supervision with Egypt Cancer Network and 57357. This experience was truly transformative — it shaped my clinical and leadership journey. Since 2018, I’ve served as a pediatric oncology consultant at 57357, became Deputy CMO for the outpatient department in 2020, and since July 2025, I’ve been leading the hospital’s AI unit. The fellowship empowered me to promote advanced pediatric oncology practices, elevating care and improving outcomes for children with cancer in Egypt.
