The patients’ own T cells will be genetically engineered at CCHE. A team, led by Dr. Alaa ElHaddad and comprised of senior and junior physicians and a pharmacist, was awarded a grant sponsored by the DFCI Center of Global Health to spend a week in Boston meeting with the DFCI team to develop the necessary policies and procedures. CCHE will be the 1st Egyptian center to offer this important and novel therapy.
