Rofan, an 8-year-old from Almansoura, has shown remarkable bravery in her fight against cancer. Three and a half years ago, she was admitted to 57357 Hospital and diagnosed with leukemia. Despite the daunting diagnosis, Rofan faced her treatment journey with immense courage and, by the grace of God, was able to recover and return to her normal life.
However, during a recent follow-up, tests revealed that Rofan’s condition had become unstable, and the disease had relapsed. Dr. Maram Farouk, her dedicated physician, informed her mother that Rofan would need a bone marrow transplantation (BMT). After conducting compatibility tests on her family, it was found that her 6-year-old brother was a match.
Today, Rofan is waiting for her turn to undergo the BMT, armed with hope and the courage to face cancer once again.
“When I was admitted with my daughter the first time, I was in shock,” said Rofan’s mother. “But Dr. Farouk reassured me, saying she had a good chance to recover. Her reassurance, along with the excellent care from the nursing staff and everyone at the hospital, comforted me. I believe in God’s will, and I have faith that God will grant her recovery like the first time. I am praying for the recovery of my daughter and for all the children with cancer. May God bless all the people who donate to 57357, helping our children find a cure.”
Your sadaka donation can make a significant difference. It will help the hospital expand the BMT department, increasing the number of BMT rooms from 9 to 27. This expansion will provide hope and a chance for recovery to many children in critical and relapse conditions.
