Embedded in the missions of the Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute, Hospital 57357 and the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation 57357 is their commitment to serving and taking care of the community by leading in cancer awareness, early detection and prevention. Since its inception, the 57357 Institution has undertaken a number of health awareness TV campaigns and school programs around topics such as passive smoking hazards and “Home without cancer” health tips and eating habits guidelines.

Moreover, it is the mandate of the newly formed board of the  Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute (AFNCI) to restore to the association its preponderant role in educating the public about cancer disease, its early detection and prevention. As such, thanks to the support of Egypt Cancer Network 57357, AFNCI which is one of its main beneficiaries and affiliates is embarking for the coming three months on an intensive TV campaign aiming at educating the public on cancer prevention and healthy living guidelines. The awareness campaign which started on  May 29th, 2013 with an anti-smoking message, will also tackle the themes of  bad eating habits and food preparation and how to avoid them. Both Egypt Cancer Network and Hospital 57357 are supporting this major campaign.

Egypt Cancer Network 57357 and AFNCI (ECN) is a US based 501C3 non-profit organization committed to the provision of resources to Egyptian Hospitals and non-profit organizations focused on cancer in the areas of patient care, scientific advancement and education

The Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute is an advocacy group dedicated to raising funds for Egypt’s National Cancer Institute and Hospital 57357.The major project of the AFNCI has been to build Hospital 57357,  a state of the art pediatric oncology Hospital and to fully equip it to meet the unique needs of children with cancer in Egypt
